Personality

Sine is typically a rather relaxed vexori, friendly and lighthearted. They always try to put his best foot forwards with those he meets, and never hesitates to help others, especially innocents or friends. They tend to come off as thoughtful too, usually leveraging his mechanical expertise to help others- he's the kind of person an elderly lady would call 'such a nice, thoughful man'.

Despite his lackadaisical personality, Sine understands when to drop the jokes and get serious. He isn't afraid of dealing with issues directly, and is often the first to confront a problem- usually almost as soon as it arises. Unfortunately, they are quick to jump to extreme measures; If he can't solve a problem the first time, they'll rarely give themself a second shot at figuring it out.

Speaking Style

Sine speaks in a rather casual manner, with prominent speaking habits owed to his native language. He speaks politely yet rarely formally, preferring to save everyone the trouble of dodging around social etiquette and going right for the conversation topics at hand. Their directness becomes exponentially more direct in tense situations, and he tends to give frank summaries of how bad things are. Usually very bad, as his profession often is.

• Eventually started working for a vexori named Monolith in engineering and shell mechanics.
• It was an illegal business, mostly patching up vexori who needed to avoid the law for one reason or another. Sine learned to put aside any feelings he had about caring for criminals, and it shifted how he looks at the world slightly.
• Eventually the law caught up to the business, and both were imprisoned. Sine's sentence was much shorter than Monolith's life sentence, both of them lying and saying Sine was mostly unaware of the illegalities going on.
• Dyson Dynamics approached Sine a year into his sentence, offering to reduce his punishment time if they worked for him. Sine declined, until the company extended the offer to Monolith's imprisonment too.
• They didn't hesitate once that offer was put on the table, willing to do anything to help his mentor and friend.

Preferences

Sine is fairly easy to get along with, rarely judging based off first encounters. They tend to like others with good hearts and intentions, but his dealings with less well-intentioned people have heightened his tolerance for such things by a large margin. He also has a soft spot for atypical-model vexori, or those with unique mechanical modifications to their bodies.

Hobbies/Interests

Sine's primary hobby is tinkering with anything they can get their talons on- even their own shell, if need-be. He also enjoys reading far-future books (sci-sci-fi, as it's lovingly known in human society), or xenofiction books (romance novels based around cross-species relationships with other erudite species, almost always the precursor races.)
